Position Overview: Pepperells is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our growing team. As an Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing our business and social events. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our brand identity and strategy, ensuring memorable experiences for our clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop original concepts and plan every detail of business and social events.
  • Constantly update clients, informing them of any issues or changes.
  • Negotiate attractive pricing with relevant suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure events align with the firm’s brand identity and strategy.
  • Be present on the day of events to ensure smooth execution.
  • Implement backup plans in case of unforeseen issues.
  • Ensure all parties adhere to health, safety, and insurance regulations.
  • Oversee post-event activities, including venue cleaning and payment of suppliers and contractors.

Requirements and Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of event management procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital event promotion tools, such as social media channels.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators in events management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent multitasking and task prioritisation skills.
