Adam is a Solicitor in the Family Law Department and holds a First Class Honours Degree in Law.
Adam represents clients in matters under the Children Act 1989. Adam frequently represents parents in Public Law Care Proceedings and regularly deals with cases concerning allegations of neglect, non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse and substance misuse. Adam has also represented clients through the Official Solicitor when it is deemed they lack capacity.
Adam has also represented parents in cases whereby the plan is for their children to be placed outside of the jurisdiction as well as cases concerning Wardship and missing children.
Adam also advises wider family members within Care Proceedings on the nature of Orders available to them to care for a child in the long-term.
Adam appears in Court on an almost daily basis, most commonly in Grimsby and Hull Combined Court Centres but has also represented clients further afield.
Amongst his usual matters, Adam has experience in dealing with protective injunctions under the Family Law Act 1996, Child Arrangement Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders.
