Location: Multiple offices - Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Newcastle, York, London, Truro, Beverley, Willerby, Lincoln.

Position Overview: As a Commercial Property Solicitor at Pepperells, you will play a crucial role in advising commercial clients on various property matters, including all aspect of property and land law relating to commercial properties. This role involves managing your own caseload, supporting the rest of the Commercial Property department, and contributing to the department’s growth through business development and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise commercial clients on their commercial property needs.
  • Manage your own case load, ensuring the timely and efficient handling of legal matters.
  • Provide support to the Commercial Property team and collaborate on complex transactions.
  • Proactively seek and secure business leads, contributing to the marketing efforts of the Commercial Property department.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience), though applicants with more or less experience are welcome.
  • Experience in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, commercial leases along with leases, assignments, and license agreements.
  • Preferable experience in development, land promotion, options agreements, conditional contracts, and overage agreements.
  • Familiarity with acting for lenders, pension schemes, and investors, providing property support on corporate matters.
  • Working knowledge of Landlord & Tenant matters.
