Lincolnshire Business Week: Celebrating the “Linconomy”Pepperells
Staff from Pepperells last week attended a series of events as part of Lincolnshire Business Week – the firm’s first involvement in the week-long celebration following the opening of an office in the city earlier this year.
Pepperells attended the Lincoln International Business School (LIBS) Connect event held at the home of Lincoln City, Sincil Bank, the Lincolnshire Business Awards and Lincolnshire Business Live, among others.
The events saw business from across the region come together to celebrate and champion economic growth and prosperity in the region.
Highlights included hearing from Liam Scully, Lincoln City FC’s chief executive. He gave an insightful presentation about the club and its global fan base – and the impact of the football club on the local economy – or “Linconomy” as he referred to it.
The Tuesday evening saw the Lincolnshire Business Awards, where dozens of businesses competed for a number of coveted awards.
The Business Live event, organised by Lincolnshire Media, saw dozens of businesses come together at the Epic Centre at Lincolnshire Showground where a number of speakers shared their business growth plans.
Pepperells staff were in attendance after the firm opened its fourth regional office base at The Lawn in early 2018.
