Position Overview: As a Corporate Solicitor at Pepperells, you will play a vital role in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and all aspects related to the structure and planning in relation to our client’s businesses. This position involves managing your own caseload, supporting the Corporate team, and actively contributing to business development and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on all aspects relating to their business transactions.
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently, ensuring the timely and effective handling of legal matters.
  • Provide support to the Corporate team and collaborate on complex transactions.
  • Proactively seek and secure business leads, contributing to the marketing efforts of the Corporate department.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience), though applicants with more or less experience are welcome.
  • Previous experience in corporate/Merges & Acquisitions, including transaction exposure and due diligence/review for both share sales and purchases.
  • Experience in business and asset sales and purchases.
  • Drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements and corporate structuring documents (Shareholders’ Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Company Articles, etc.).
  • Ability to assist with finance and loan documentation along with associated company due diligence.
