Alison Elwess is a Solicitor in the firm’s Private Client team, advising on a range of matters including the administration of estates and trusts, the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and deputyship applications to the Court of Protection. Qualified as a solicitor in 2006, Alison brings significant experience in supporting clients with sensitive and often complex personal affairs.
Alison works closely with individuals and families to provide clear, practical advice tailored to their circumstances, ensuring that matters are handled efficiently and with care. In addition to her client work, she provides support to junior members of the team, assisting with will drafting and offering guidance on a range of private client matters.
Alison trained with a firm in her hometown of Gainsborough and has specialised in private client work throughout her career. She has since worked at firms in York and Lincoln before joining Pepperells in 2025, bringing with her a breadth of experience across the region.
She has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2011, recognising her expertise in this area of law.
Outside of work, Alison is actively involved in her local community as a Cub and Beaver leader with her local Scout group, and contributes to the district and county Scouts water activity teams. She is also a keen church bellringer.
