Lydia Welbourn is a Police Station Representative and Trainee CILEX Lawyer in the Criminal Defence team, having been a qualified police station representative since 2023. She assists clients during police interviews, safeguarding their rights, providing clear guidance and helping to ensure they receive fair treatment while in police custody.
Lydia also supports clients throughout the duration of their case, including in Magistrates’ and Crown Court matters, helping them navigate the criminal justice process. She has worked in criminal law for almost seven years and is known for being approachable, professional and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
Lydia obtained her Police Station Accreditation qualification in 2023 and is currently training through CILEX, with an expected qualification date in 2028.
