Melanie Smith is part of the firm’s Front of House and Call Handling team, providing professional and efficient customer service to both clients and colleagues. She is responsible for welcoming visitors, managing reception and handling incoming calls, helping to ensure that enquiries are dealt with promptly and directed to the right person or department.
Alongside her day‑to‑day responsibilities, Melanie provides training and mentoring for new Front of House staff across the firm’s external offices, supporting consistency and high standards of client care. With 35 years’ experience in the legal sector, including five years at Pepperells, she has developed a wide range of communication skills and a strong working knowledge of the firm’s departments and how a busy legal practice operates.
